Christmas Sharing at Seton

Join us in making this holiday season brighter for those who need it most.
Christmas Wreath

Seton Center works to share holiday season joy and lessen the burden on families. With community generosity and collaboration, we offer new coats and cold weather gear, holiday meals and gift list items. From children’s books and clothes to toys and small household items, Seton’s volunteers and donors help to make the season bright for nearly 300 families. How can you help?

“Adopt a Family” Red Bag

Seton staff and volunteers enroll and outreach to families to collect children’s gift, book, and stocking stuffer wish list ideas. Then, community groups, parishes, families, and individuals “adopt” an enrolled family by purchasing the desired gift items which are packed and distributed as “Red Bags.” Each adult in the family receives a gift card from a big box retailer to help in purchasing household items or food. If you or someone you know would be interested in adopting a family, please email us at: development@setonkc.org.

Holiday Food Pantry Drive

In concert with our “Adopt-a-Family” Red Bags, we also provide additional food security during the holidays. Seton’s staff and board believe that every family deserves to celebrate the holidays with nourishment and joy. Generous donations of non-perishable food items, as well as holiday proteins such as turkeys, chickens and ham, help us to create holiday meal packages that bring warmth and comfort to neighbors who need it most. Drop offs are accepted during business hours Monday through Friday. If you would like to schedule a large donation drop off, please contact our Food Pantry Director, Paula Davis – pdavis@setonkc.org.
