Food Pantry
Seton Center provides nutritious supplemental food pantry items as well as personal care and hygiene products to individuals and families who reside within our service area through our food pantry.

Monday, Wednesday and Friday
9:00 A.M. – 11:30 A.M.
1:00 P.M. – 3:30 P.M. - For further information: call (816)231-3955
- Clients within our service area are eligible every 21 days for food and hygiene supplies based on their size of household. Clients outside of our service area can receive the food pantry services up to 3 times a year.
- Seton’s main food supply is received from Harvesters, TEFAP, Hiland dairy, and a monthly donation from St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Any additional needs are supplemented by purchases from local grocery stores.
- Personal care and hygiene supplies are supplied by Giving the Basics and supplemented by purchasing from other stores.
- Additional donations are received throughout the year from organizations, businesses, churches and individuals.
- Weekly bread and sweet donations are supplied by Raytown Reap and Price Chopper.

Donate to Our Food Pantry
We always welcome your donations to our food pantry, whether it’s dropping off donated items from our “Most Need Items” list, purchasing items from our Amazon wish list, hosting a food or fund drive at your business, organization, church or school, or a monetary donation. There are many ways to contribute and any contribution is greatly appreciated, no matter how big or small!!! Our list is composed of some of our most common needs as well as what we’re short on currently.

Items Required to Sign Up for Food Pantry:
- An ID for the head of household (any sort of ID that has name, birthdate and picture)
- Social security card, birth certificate, passport, visa card, 1040 form verifying all other household members (any sort of ID that has name and birthdate)
- Proof of address from the last 30 days (utility bill, leasing agreement, mortgage deed, social security award letter, food stamp award letter, hospital bill, unemployment letter, check stub, bank statement)
Income Eligibility for Food Pantry
Income eligibility guidelines 185% of federal poverty guidelines. Effective April 1st, 2024.
