Get Involved & Volunteer
Looking for unique and fulfilling ways to give back to the community? Consider become a Seton Center volunteer! We are seeking dedicated volunteers to help lead and support our efforts in providing consistent, quality services to our neighbors in need. We have many opportunities available for individuals or groups of any size, working in our food pantry, clothing closet, sorting and distribution areas as well as special projects and events. Getting Started
Follow these 3 easy steps to start volunteering today!

Create an Account
Visit our online portal to create an account, and view upcoming volunteer opportunities.

Become Volunteer Approved
A background check is required to volunteer for Seton Center. Once approved, you can attend our training!

Attend a Training
We require all participants to attend a one-time training to start volunteering for Seton Center.

Start Volunteering!
Sign in to your account, view upcoming volunteer needs, and pick whichever one you’d like to do!

Volunteer Opportunities
- sorting and packing bags in the food pantry
- sorting clothing and restocking the thrift store
- stuffing envelopes for mailings
- assisting with Back-to-School distribution
- planning and staging special events
- holding food drives or collections of personal hygiene, clothing, shoes, and home good items
- preparing toy bags, food boxes, gifts, and clothing distributions for the Christmas Sharing Program
- assisting with other special projects throughout the year
WHAT TO KNOW WHEN VOLUNTEERING
- Seton recommends working in closed-toe shoes
- You should wear clothes they don't mind getting dirty
- You should be able to lift 25 lbs
