Christmas Sharing at Seton

Join us in making this holiday season brighter for those who need it most.
Christmas Wreath

Christmas can be an extremely stressful time when those we serve may be facing financial hardship or have been negatively impacted by unforeseen circumstances. Christmas Sharing at Seton is a special way to share support for those clients. We invite you to join us by assisting with the relief of the financial burden associated with the holidays, enabling our neighbors in need to share in the magic and joy of Christmas. There are many ways to participate, adopting a family and personally purchasing from children’s wish lists, donating new coats or cold weather gear, donating food pantry items, making a monetary donation, volunteering and much more (we can be creative together)! You are not only providing essential gifts and resources but also fostering a sense of connection and empowerment within our community. Join us in making the holiday season brighter for those who need it most.

“Adopt a Family” Red Bag

For this program, children provide Seton with their gift, book, and stocking stuffer wish list ideas. These wish lists are shared with individuals or groups who “adopt” the family by purchasing gifts for the children that are placed in red bags for distribution. Each adult in the family will receive a gift card from a big box retailer to help in purchasing household items or food. If you or someone you know would be interested in adopting a family, please email Stephanie Scott: Stephanie.Scott@setonkc.org

John F. Baty “Spreading Warmth”

The John F. Baty “Spreading Warmth Program” was created to honor the legacy of John and his unwavering commitment to philanthropy. During Christmas and the winter months to follow, the “Spreading Warmth Program” ensures that every person in the community we serve is properly outfitted and protected from the cold with appropriate apparel including new coats, hat, gloves, scarves, winter boots, etc… If you would like to contribute to the “Spreading Warmth Program” with any of those items, please contact Stephanie Scott – Stephanie.scott@setonkc.org To learn more about the legacy of John Baty please click here.

Holiday Food Pantry Drive

The holiday food pantry drive in concert with our annual Christmas Sharing event is a heartfelt way we are able to uplift local families facing food insecurity during this festive season. At Seton Center we believe that every family deserves to celebrate the holidays with nourishment and joy. Your generous donations of non-perishable food items, as well as holiday proteins such as turkeys, chickens and ham, will help us create holiday meal packages that bring warmth and comfort to those who need it most. Drop offs are accepted during business hours Monday through Friday. If you would like to schedule a pic up of a large quantity of items please feel free to contact our Food Pantry Director, Paula Davis – pdavis@setonkc.org
